The current generation of our website was built to adapt to each individual customer's needs; SHI offers three levels of customization to provide the best fit for your company's requirements. SHI.COM
The SHI web sites are designed to provide the customer with the information necessary to manage IT procurement needs quickly, easily, and effectively. SHI customers can choose from a pallet of features to build an optimum feature set for procurement via our website. Our sales executives have direct access for immediate implementation of any of these features, resulting in quick adaptation to each customer's best e-purchasing environment. From access to product information and online ordering, to order status and reporting, we provide a customized, integrated platform to help you manage your hardware and software procurement.

Your Homepage at SHI
A custom homepage is another level of site adaptation that we offer to our customers.   A custom homepage includes the same level of feature customization described above, as well as a tailored interface.  Organizations with a custom homepage from our main site are provided with their own "welcome" page which may contain links to information that is unique to their own requirements.  For example, one SHI customer's homepage contains a link to a list of "Approved Products", followed by a listing of internal IT Purchasing professionals who may grant technical approval for products not on the pre-approved list.  Other custom homepages include licensing program contract information and product listings. Your SHI sales executive can work with you to create a custom welcome page/user interface.  Click on Your Home at SHI for an example. Unless you are already logged-on, you will be prompted to enter a user name and password.  If you are not currently set up for SHI e-commerce, please log on as "webguest", password, "guest".

Private-label Websites
Customers with a great deal of users can take advantage of an additional customization offering.  SHI can create private-label websites that are fully customized to your organization's business to business requirements.  A private-label site contains choice information from SHI's main site as well as customer specific information, all arranged to your specifications.  Most often SHI can accommodate your needs with a custom homepage, however this option is available if the custom homepage does not sufficiently fit your requirements.  One of SHI's major multi-national accounts relies on this option as the ideal solution to their purchasing needs.  An end-user at this enterprise simply fills out a form on their intranet and a request to create an account is sent to SHI's server automatically.  Currently this organization has 25,000 users accessing the private label site to conduct business with SHI.
