Al is responsible for SHI’s largest corporate and global customers in the United States, Europe and Asia-Pacific region. He also oversees SHI’s Public Sector division, which includes healthcare, academic and all federal, state and local government institutions, including a new telesales team solely focused on education and local government customers.

Since leaving Egghead Software to join SHI 25+ years ago, Al has built SHI’s Enterprise Organization to its current state of 800 sales people (300 field sellers and 500+ on the inside) who produced $5.5 billion in revenue in 2016. His organization’s consistent growth is due to its continued expansion of sales teams that provide solutions focused on customer needs. In 2016, Al merged SHI’s Technical Pre-Sales and Services organizations into the Enterprise Sales organization to foster additional synergy with SHI’s customers, partners and sales teams.

Al graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Ithaca College and MBA from Pace University.

As Vice President/General Manager, Hal Jagger is responsible for the overall management of SHI Corporate, a sales organization tasked with extending SHI's partnership to small and mid-sized organizations of up to 5,000 desktops. He is also responsible for all SHI sales efforts in Canada.

Hal gained extensive experience on both sides of the partner channel prior to joining SHI in 2008. For two years he was the Sr. Director of Channel Sales for Business Objects where he managed its North American partnerships. For nine years prior, Hal had worked for Softchoice Corporation where he eventually ascended to the position of Vice President of Marketing.

Hal obtained his B.A. of Political Science from the University of California, Davis in 1994.

As Vice President of new Business Development, Melissa Graham holds a leadership position in developing, fostering and strengthening SHI's partnerships with the most recognizable names in the telecom and pharmaceutical industries. Melissa oversees a highly skilled team of Enterprise Account Executives and Inside Sales Representatives who deliver software, hardware and IT professional services solutions and the highest level of comprehensive support to the largest corporations in the United States and around the world.

Melissa has led (and in some cases, invented) various jobs needed to cover every aspect of SHI sales and customer support solutions. She started in Insides Sales, and eventually opened SHI's first West Coast office south of San Francisco. As SHI's Strategic Accounts Manager, Melissa worked with SHI's sales and IT departments to develop the original and innovative solutions still used to support the most complex IT organizations in the country.

As a Vice President of SHI, Celeste Lee's primary responsibility is to establish, maintain and strengthen SHI's partnerships with Fortune 500 customers in the high tech and defense industries. From SHI's Northern California office, Celeste oversees a highly skilled global team of Enterprise Account and Inside Sales Representatives who deliver SHI's software, hardware and IT professional services solutions to end-users of the largest corporations around the world.

Prior to joining SHI in 1992, Celeste was a Public Relations manager with the Korea Explosives Group, a Managing Director for Korea Business World, a manager of Mergers and Acquisitions at SCI and an Assistant Vice President at Bank of America. She received her Bachelor's degree from Ewha Women's University in Seoul, Korea and a Master's from Harvard University.

Pete Carufe is the Senior Director for SHI's Commercial Enterprise market and is responsible for securing new business, building customer loyalty, and developing strong relationships with SHI's strategic business partners. Working from SHI's Chicago office, Pete synchronizes the efforts of Account Executives both in the field and within corporate headquarters, as well as the technicians working at SHI's Integration Center. His overall goal is to help deliver a seamless software, hardware, and professional services solution to SHI's customers.

In his free time, Pete lends valuable insight and feedback used in the expansion of SHI's territory development, team training, solution selling strategies, and tactical market positioning.

Pete received a B.S. from St. John's University in Queens, NY in 1990 and has been with SHI since 1995.

Eric Guthrie is the General Manager of Corporate Outside Sales and is responsible for managing SHI's overall sales efforts.

Eric joined SHI in 2010 after working for Softchoice for eight years in a variety of sales and sales leadership roles where he received numerous awards for his contributions to the business.

Eric graduated from The University of Georgia with a B.S. in Marketing and is an active volunteer with the Northside Youth Organization, Golden Retriever Rescue, and Habitat for Humanity.

As Sr. Director of Public Sector Sales, Denise Verdicchio leads a team of six regional directors who manage 120+ account executives for customers throughout the United States.

Denise joined SHI in 1995 as an inside sales representative and in 2010, she transitioned to Public Sector supporting state and local government in New Jersey where she has since more than doubled NJ's state government business.

Denise graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and sociology.

As SHI’s Director of Federal Sales, Randy Lee is passionate about building a trusted brand in the federal market. Based in Reston, VA, Randy leads a team of experienced federal account executives who are supported by the inside federal team at SHI HQ.

Prior to joining SHI in 2014, Randy worked at ASAP Software (19 years) where he was VP, and Government and Trend Micro (3 years) where he served as Director of Public Sector and Channel Sales.

Randy earned a Bachelor of Science from Bob Jones University in Greenville, S.C., with additional graduate studies in educational administration.

As General Manager for SHI UK, Darren Brodrick is responsible for the overall management and growth of SHI’s UK business. Reporting to Al Fitzgerald, Darren leads the UK’s enterprise and corporate sales teams.

Darren’s success with the local market is based on his team’s ability to provide international customers with exceptional customer service in a complex and demanding market.

Darren joined SHI UK in January 2004 as an outside sales representative. He has played both football (soccer) and rugby at the semi-professional level.

As the General Manager for SHI France, Gabriel Cohen has overall responsibility for SHI’s operations there. In this role, Gabriel implements SHI International’s global strategy and initiatives in France to help grow SHI France sales in the enterprise, mid-market and public sector markets.

Prior to launching the French subsidiary in 2010, Gabriel spent 22 years working in the IT solutions industry. He is a graduate of the French engineering school INSA de Lyon and holds an MBA from the French business school ISG Paris.

Jeff Schwalm is the Managing Director for SHI Canada and is responsible for the overall growth and success of the country, reporting directly to Melissa Humble. He leads a group of Account Executives who support the entire nation, from the largest Canadian Enterprise customers to mid-sized Corporate customers, as well as Public Sector clients in a variety of Provinces.

From 2008 to 2014, Jeff worked in a variety of sales and leadership roles at SHI, and in July 2018 he returned to the company. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Waterloo.

As Regional Sales Director for Asia-Pacific, Frank Cranley oversees SHI’s Asia-Pacific regional sales and operations, as well as vendor and partner relations. Based in Hong Kong, Frank and his team of sales and operations staff support our largest enterprise customers in the Asia region.

He first joined SHI in 1993 as part of the inside sales team. Soon after, he became the first full-time licensing administrator in SHI’s newly created licensing department and in February 2000, he established SHI’s Hong Kong office, which he has been managing ever since.

Frank graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts in economics.

As Public Sector Sales Director, Steven Nemeth is responsible for the overall management of small and medium public sector accounts throughout the U.S.

After joining SHI’s public sector team in 2002, Steve has held multiple positions in the state, local, and education markets, supporting customers of all sizes, in all states.

Steve obtained a bachelor's degree in information technology and informatics from Rutgers University, and conducted additional post-graduate studies in project management at Stevens Institute of Technology.

As Senior Director for Enterprise Inside Sales, John D’Aquila oversees a team of more than 350 inside sales employees responsible for day to day sales and customer support activities with a focus on ever-increasing growth, efficiency and collaboration.

John joined SHI in 2001 as an accounts receivable representative. He later supported SHI’s e-commerce platforms in various roles for 13 years before taking over the Enterprise inside sales department.

John graduated from Kean University with a Bachelor of Science in management science and a Master of Science in management information systems.

As a General Manager, Melissa Humble is responsible for the SMB sales organization and SHI’s Canadian business. Melissa is motivated by developing others, as well as leading through change that translates into measurable business results.

Melissa obtained her Bachelor of Science in speech communications from the University of Texas in Austin. She is actively involved in various women’s organizations, including SHI’s own WiSH program and volunteers with the Special Olympics.

As a General Manager, Valerie is responsible for leading the Inside Named Sales organization out of Austin, Texas. Valerie joined SHI directly out of college as an Inside Sales Account Manager and has held a variety of roles internally at SHI before joining the Senior Leadership Team.

Valerie graduated from with Vanderbilt University Cum Laude with a BA in European Studies. She enthusiastically supports the growth and the diversity of Women in Technology and is a Board Member of WiSH.
